1.Which is your favorite portrait photo that you took? Why?

I like the loop picture the best. The retouch I did was really good.

2.Which of these lighting techniques do you think you can apply for future picture taking? Explain.

I think split was the easiest picture to take. The light is right on top and you take the photo, no weird angles.

Questions:

There are many things of advice I would give to other classmates. Main one is listen to the teacher for all of the settings. The picture will come out better then if you don’t listen. Make sure you don’t overdue the photo.

Jack Hughes wait George whats happening

I hope the composite image shows that Jack Hughes and George Washington both had an impact on the world. I think that Jack Hughes is one of the greatest hockey players of all time. I think that it is used by people that have the same skin tone. I think picking good people is a good tip. I picked 2 well known people who don’t choose someone randomly. I think mostly everyone can do a great job on this project if they try.

My Kitchen

I chose the gourds because they have a lot of texture. I chose the bagel because I can look through it. I though that these were my best photos.

In the first photo it is natural light. In the second photo it is my kitchen lights.  The first photo was taken around 9am and the second was around 9pm.

For the first photo I used Figure to ground. For the second photo I used Rule of Thirds. I didn’t crop any of the photos.

I think the colors are way different in both photos. In the first photo they are dark. In the second the colors are bright/contrasted.

In the first photo I used a 75-300mm lens. In the second I just used portrait mode on my phone. They both came out very similar.

Used textured foods. Bubble gum is also a popular one. Don’t make the photos too dark.

Far and close and funky photos

Refraction apple

Oil and Water

I am gonna use the shadow photo.

In the shadow photo there are 2 colors. There are red and blue. The blue represents happiness, the red represents madness.

The photo makes me think of mental health. Going back to what the colors mean.

The part of the photo that jumps out is that the colors are split. The colors being split reminds me of 3D.

This photo makes me fell happy. I hope I am always in the blue. Atleast I try to be in blue.

I think some advice is to take good photos. The person taking the photos is the most important part.

1. What strengths and weaknesses do you see in your own work?

I had a lot of strengths and weaknesses. My strength was taking the photos. My weakness was editing.

2. How might you improve or refine your approach in future photography projects?

I think I will use a different platform to edit. I will use Photoshop. For this project I used Photoshop Beta.

3. Pick one of your photos, what emotions or messages did you intend to convey through this photograph?

In the picture of the flower many things are shown. The flower represents love. It also shows darkness and hoping it will help people by cheering them up.

1.I loved this scavenger hunt. I enjoyed being able to switch lenses. It was fun being able to go outside after the rain and the things were dripping.

2. The biggest challenge is keeping my hand still. I tend to have shaky hands. I have a mono pole at home at it helps a lot.

3. I will do many different things for the next shoot. I am gonna use my own gear because I am more familiar with. I will focus a lot more and get more and better photos.
