Questions:

There are many things of advice I would give to other classmates. Main one is listen to the teacher for all of the settings. The picture will come out better then if you don’t listen. Make sure you don’t overdue the photo.

  1. I like the many colors of the beads. The different colors really pop in the picture and look very nice. Finally, the different sized balls adds contrast to the picture which I am sure Kevin noticed.
Something better could be the distribution of the balls. There are some balls of the same color that are too close to each other and I think having something pattern-like would be cool. Lastly, he should zoom out so we could see the design of the bowl.
He should try and use a different angle so he could get everything in the shot. Move out more so he could see different angles to see which shots he likes more and then submit it. Finally, he should center the bowl to the middle to make the proportions right.

  2. Who are you critiquing?
    Kevin Bernstein

I like how well it captured their body and expressions. They are completely frozen in motion. It is a great shot.

I think he should definitely turn down the saturation and vibrance. John is completely orange in the shot, which I doubt was how he looked before editing. It just makes it look an ugly orange and brown.
What one piece of advice for the photographer to help them make their work better next time? Explain writing 3 sentences in the block to the right.
I would have picked a shot where they were close. Either that or cropped the photo so it is easier to focus on the two of them. That would have made it better.
